B.Ed. Programme |

The aim of the B.Ed. Programme is to provide opportunities for
professional development of in service untrained graduate teachers of Uttar
Pradesh. It attempts to develop the capacity of understanding the Nature of
Students and Developmental Stages, Learning Process, Evaluation Techniques,
School Management and other different activities related to students support
services. Minimum eligibility for admission is graduate with two years teaching
experience. Admission will be through entrance test. Candidate must be in
teaching profession at the time of admission also. |

The main aim of the B.Ed. (S.E.) Programme is to develop training
abilities of special educator. This programme provides opportunities for
professional development of special educators working in the field of
disabilities and rehabilitation. At present three areas of specialization i.e.
MR, VI and HI are available in B.Ed. (SE). The main aim of B.Ed. (SE) programme
is to develop the capacity of understanding the Nature of Students, learning

Well-qualified Faculty has been appointed for the SoE at the
headquarters. It consists of one senior professor and eight lecturers. The areas
of specializations of the faculty are: Educational Psychology, Guidance and
Counseling, Special Education, Examination Reforms, Measurement and Evaluation,
Open and Distance Education and Educational Administration. The core faculty at
the headquarters coordinates in the planning and execution of various academic
activities and conducts a regular monitoring of the curriculum transaction
process at the study centers. |
